Weekend Reading

Weekend reading

I can’t believe Christmas is over. Ours was incredibly hectic. We drove across the (small) state of South Carolina twice, into North Carolina, and celebrated Christmas with four families (my father’s extended family, my parents, just David and I, and David’s parents). But we are home, and we have actually decided to buy some champagne and stay in for New Years.

But here are some posts from the past week that may help you with your New Years plans, and Resolutions!

Brighton with Brightontheday has some wonderful tips for recovering from the holidays, both what you can do today, and what you can do over the next month!

And while you’re at it, this Turmeric Gingerbread Latte from Waiting on Martha looks like a delicious way to recover from the holidays!

Is anyone else traveling to recover from the holidays? Can you take me with you? It looks like Jen with the Fashion Magpie and Mackenzie with Design Darling are traveling!

But no matter where you choose to recover, these outfits from Julia with Gal Meets Glam and these shoes from Emily from Ivory Lane look so comfy!

If you do venture out, and don’t feel like washing your hair, take some tips from Katey from Chronicles of Frivolity (love that blog name) on hairstyles for unwashed hair! Katey, you are reading my mind!

If you are planning a last minute New Years Eve party, here are some great tips from Society Social (THE place to get furniture and decor for entertaining!)

Emma with A Beautiful Mess has what looks like a delicious cranberry spritzer for your New Years Eve party signature cocktail!

Looking back at your previous year is a great way to look ahead to the new year! What did you do poorly, or what did you do wonderfully! Julia with Gal Meets Glam shares wonderful tips for reflecting on 2017.

And tips for a stress less New Year from The Everygirl looks like an amazing way to start the New Year!

I hope everyone has a wonderful New Years! As I said, we will probably stay in, but what do you all have planned!
