I’ve finally jumped on the loungewear train

Clothing

I’ve finally purchased some clothes specifically designed to just wear around the house. For years I’ve been wearing t-shirts and Lululemon for this purpose, but that didn’t really cut it this winter when Lilly had to be taken out. I try really hard to not fall for trends, but this one was just too comfortable.

I bought several pairs of leggings, but I’m not going to share most of them because I don’t really like being negative. These leggings, however, are my absolute favorite and I’ve been living in them ever since I got them. I even went to Trader Joes in them on Saturday morning! Size: XS

I also have fallen in love with this pullover. I bought it in a drab grey, but I now wish I had waited for it to come back in stock in sea pink. Regardless of the color, it is so comfortable. I really love the cowl neckline and the cross-over hem. I have no problem wearing this for a quick walk with Lilly around the neighborhood. Size: XS

These shoes are also surprisingly comfortable. Here in Charleston, I don’t need all of the stuffing and fluff many moccasin slippers have (it’s been an unseasonably cold winter with temps dipping below freezing at night more often than not for several weeks, but usually you don’t even need a heavy coat but for a few days through winter). So I decided to not spend a lot on my slippers. I could wear these year round. They’re really lightweight and feel really durable. I was also able to get my monogram on them! Size: 8 (I wear a 7.5 in dress shoes).

Btw, please disregard my incredibly undecorated bedroom. I just ordered some prints and a pillow, I’ll do a blog post on that soon.

I have always been a fan of house clothes, but refused the eloquently Southern, house coat. I lounge in my LulaRoe leggings and Old tshirts, but my slippers need the fuzz. I have some fabulously warm ones from LL Bean. I love your new pullover. Mine is like a half zip pullover I bought at Atlanta market years ago.

I love it. I realized I lounge in Lululemon and T-shirt’s all the time, I may as well invest in something cozy. I love my LL Bean shoes though. They aren’t super cozy like Ugg, but it’s usually so warm down here I don’t really need that!
